Itinerary

Day 1
Cochin (Arrival) to Munnar

Arrival at Cochin then Proceed to Munnar - The beautiful hill station was one of the summer capital of British Government in India. The never ending vast expanse of tea plantation and the round the year moderate climate makes it a little haven for visitors. Cheyyappara - Visiting time: 6am -6pm.No entry fee. Valara waterfalls - Entry fee: 25/- for adult & 5/- for child. Tata Tea Museum - Visiting Time: 9am -5pm.Closed on Monday. Entry Fee: 75/- per person for adult, 35/- for child, 20 /-for still camera, 100/- for tea tasting. Information with show timing, first show at 10am & second show at 2pm. Visit Rajamala - The house of highly endangered mountain goats and Nilgiri Thars Overnight stay at Munnar.

Day 2
Munnar

Morning after breakfasts proceed to Munnar sightseeing. Visit Mattupetty dam – Visiting time: 9.30am-5pm.Entry fee: 10/- per person. Boating is available here. Ordinary Boat: 300/- for 1-5 pax 15 minutes. Speed Boat:500/- for 1-5 pax 15 minutes Big Boat: 700/- for 20 pax 30minutes. Echo point –Visiting time: 7am – 6pm.Entry fee: 30/- for adult & 15/- for child.Photoghraphy and trekking is available here. Trekking time would not exceed 2 hrs. Kundala Lake- Visiting Time: 7am -6pm.Boating is available here. Pedal Boat:100/- for 3 pax Row Boat : 150/- for 4 pax Shikara Boat: 200/- for 2 pax. Blossom Park – Visiting Time: 9am -7pm.Entry fee: 10/- for adult & 2/- for child. Overnight stay at Munnar.

Day 3
Munnar to Thekkady

Morning after breakfast proceeds to Thekkady – Periyar Lake around the sanctuary is built, for boating. This is the only sanctuary in India, where you can have the unique experience of viewing wild life at close quarters from the safety of boat. Jungle safari on Optional cost – 2500/- per person up to 6 pax in a jeep (Note: Forest entrance is not included.50/- for Indians & 500/- for foreigners.(will be extra) Periyar lake, Enjoy boat ride (boat Tkt extra) - Visiting Time: 7:30am – 5pm.Entry fee: 150/- per person for boat by KTDC and 40/- per person for boat by forest department. Elephant Safari on Optional cost – Visiting time: 10am – 5pm. Feeding and photo session: 550/- per person. Half an hour ride and photo session: 400/- per person. Elephant shower: 900/- per person. Day 4
Thekkady to Kovalam

After breakfast Proceed to Kovalam- Kovalam is internationally renowned beach has been favourite haunt of tourists. Kovalam consists of three adjacent crescent beaches they are, Light house beach, Hawa beach and Samudra beach. Visit beautiful sunset in the evening. Overnight stay at Kovalam

Kovalam

Morning after breakfast proceeds to tour of Trivandrum. Visit Padmanabha swami temple –The temple located inside the east fort. Dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Temple is blend of the Kerala and Dravidian style of architecture. It is known for its mural paintings and stone carving. (Dress code-Dothy for men and Saree for women) Trivandrum Zoo- (Entry fee-20 for adult,5 for below 12 – Visiting time-9 am to 5:15pm Monday closed) Napier Museum – (Entry fee- 20 per person-Visiting time-10am to 5pm except Monday and Wednesday) Visit Poovar sightseeing. Overnight stay at Kovalam.

Day 6
Kovalam to Alleppey

Morning after breakfast proceed to Alleppey- It’s known as Venice of East and immense natural beauty caressed by the Arabian sea in the west and vast network of lakes, lagoons and fresh water rivers criss – crossing the back water country. Afternoon at leisure. Boating in backwater. Overnight stay at Alleppey.

Day 7
Alleppey to Cochin

Morning after breakfast proceed to Cochin. Visit to Fort Cochin, Mattancherry Jewish synagogue (visiting time.10am to 12pm -3pm to 5pm Friday and Saturday closed). Marine Drive. Boating in Cochin Lake. Overnight stay at Cochin

Day 8
Cochin (Tour ends)
